Whether this is down to ECRM and online PR being more quantifiable in measurability than a brand awareness campaign during Britain’s Got Talent isn’t mentioned (well, it’s from the Chartered Institute of Marketing).
However 24% of the 1,000+ marketeers taking part opt for knowing their existing customers during the current economic climate, with PR in second place (with 12%) for stronger return on marketing budget.
